When young Abhimanyu came to know of Yudhishthira's dilemma, he said, "Do not worry, uncle. My father has taught me how to break through the six arrays of the Chakravyuha. But I cannot break through the seventh one. Therefore, if I fail to kill all the enemies, I may not be able to come out of the Chakravyuha. But that does not matter... I will die fighiting for what is right.
Yudhishthira replied, "My son. As soon as you break into the Chakravyuha, we will all follow you. We will never leave you alone in it." Bheema, too, said, "Son! We just want you to break into the Chakravyuha. I will be right behind you and warriors like Dhrishtadyumna and Satyaki will follow close behind." Abhimanyu thought of his father Arjuna and his maternal uncle Shri Krishna and sought their blessings.
He deceided to break through the Chakravyuha. "Sumitra!" he said to his charioteer, enthusiastically. "Drive my chariot towards the Chakravyuha."
