Though Abhimanyu was alone amid the enemy, he did not lose courage. He bravely moved forward, breaking through the arrays of the Chakravyuha, and killing enemy soldiers. The young Abhimanyu terrorized the Kaurava army.
The Kauravas, ignored all the principles of war. Great warriors like Dronacharya, Kripacharya, Ashwatthama, Kama and Shalya together attacked the lone Abhimanyu. But even their attack did not deter him. He withstood their attack bravely... and resisted their onslaught single-handedly... Abhimanyu wounded Kama and Shalya.
