After her marriage to King Pandu, Kunti used a divine mantra to invoke Lord Indra.
Lord Indra blessed her with a son. He was named 'Arjuna'.
Since childhood, Arjuna possessed keen observation and deep concentration abilities.
Nothing went by without it being observed by his sharp eyes.
Kunti would often say, "When Arjuna grows up, he will become the best archer in the world."
Guru Dronacharya finished training the young Kauravas and Pandavas. One bright summer morning Dronacharya thought, "Let me test the princes." So he hung a white toy bird from the branch of a tree. For eyes the bird had two red rubies!
