Bheema got Duryadhona in combat on the battlefield at last, Bheema fulfilled his desires. In his fight with Dusshasana, Bheema defeated him and hurled him on the ground. He placed his foot on Dusshasana's chest broke his right hand and hurled it towards the sky. Dusshasana screamed with pain. Bheema then tore open Dusshasana's chest and fulfilled his vow. There was only one vow left to be fulfilled.
Karna was killed by Arjuna's arrows. Shalya was then appointed the commander of the Kaurava army.
On the eighteenth day of the war, Shalya was killed by Yudhishthira.
Shakuni and his son were killed by Nakula and Sahadeva.
