THE STORY OF DHRONA
Being a Brahmin, he had not amassed any wealth.
Besides, he had no attachment to material wealth.
But when he heard Kripi's suggestion, he said to himself,
"There is no milk for my only son! This is not fair."
Drona said to Kripi, "I can ask Drupada for not only a cow but also half his kingdom."
Saying this,
Recalling his childhood days Drona said,  "Drupada and me are childhood friends. We lved together, layed togetherand studied togetherin the ashrama of Sage Agnivesha.
Drupada would often tell me, “I am the son of the King of Panchal. When I grow up, When I grow up, I, too, will become a king. Then I will give you half my kingdom."
