Ekalavya was playing with his bow and arrows, when he overheard someone saying, "The Kauravas and the Pandavas are learning archery from guru Dronacharya."
Ekalavya said to himself, "Ah! I also want to learn archery. I will receive my training from guru Drona and in return, I will serve him with devotion."
Ekalavya went to Dronacharya and bowed to him. His eyes reflected his devotion and reverence for the guru.
