DURYODHANA - 1
After losing the game of dice, the Pandavas were forced to go into exile. Duryodhana was not satisfied,Even after they had left for the forest. He said to Kara,"I cannot live in peace unless I see the suffering of the helpless and grief-stricken Pandavas."

To see the Pandavas suffering and to harass them even more, the Kauravas reached Kamyakavana along with their army.On the way Duryodhana quarrelled with the gandharvas who were there.

In the battle that ensued between them, the
Kauravas were defeated. Chitrasena, the king of the gandharvas, captured Duryodhana. He tied his hands and feet and put him into his chariot. Many soldiers of the Kaurava army escaped. Chitrasena also captured some of the Kauravas. Karna was so embarrassed that he fled from the scene. Some of the soldiers sought refuge in the ashrama of the Pandavas.
