Sage Durvasa had given a divine mantra to Kunti.
If she invoked any god by chanting that mantra, he would appear before her and bless her with a son just like him. After her marriage to King Pandu, Kunti used the divine mantra to invoke Dharmaraja.
Dharmaraja blessed her with a son who was called 'Yudhishthira'.
The Pandavas married Draupadi. On the advice of Bhishma, Dhritarashtra gave Khandavaprastha to the Pandavas and said, "Go to Khandavaprastha, re-establish the city and make it your capital. Rule your kingdom happily and peacefully."
The Pandavas renovated the ruined city of Khandavaprastha and named it Indraprastha.Yudhishthira became the King of Indraprastha.
