Scrooge realized he was the dead person that the businessmen had been discussing so carelessly.
“Good Gracious, then it was also me who was robbed by the two miserable creatures,” he cried.
Suddenly he was back in his bedroom.
In desperation, Scrooge begged the Spirit, “I have understood your lesson. Give me a chance to redeem myself!”
But the spectre vanished without replying.
