GREED
A fisherman was returning home after a day at the river with his cart full of eels.
Renyard, the fox, saw him and the cart and immediately devised a plan to have a sumptuous dinner. He lay down in the middle of the road and pretended to be dead.
When the fisherman saw him he fell for the trick. He picked up the fox convinced that he could skin the fox and get a beautiful fox skin. He put the fox at the back of his cart.
As soon as the fisherman concentrated on driving the cart on the rutty road, Renyard emptied all the basket of ells on the road.
He then jumped of the cart and gathering the ells ran off. The gullible fisherman lost both, his fur and his fish.
