Many men are brave but there are an equal number who only talk of bravery and are very scared to act when the time comes.
There was a hunter going through in search of a bear, wit a gun slung from his shoulder. He met a woodcutter on the way and asked,
"My good man, do you happen o have seen the footprint of a bear?
" Yes I have," said the woodcutter, leaning on his axe. Then seeing the gun on the man's shoulder said, Come I will take you to his den!"
The hunter went pale with fear and started to shiver.
"Thank you, but that won't be necessary," he stammered. " I am looking for bear tracks and not the bear itself! he finished sheepishly."
