PERSUASION
Windy, the north wind and Sunny, the hot sun both claimed that one was stronger than the other was. After a long argument they saw heavily clothed traveler coming along. They then agreed to try their powers on the traveler with an understanding that whoever will be able to make the traveler shed his heavy coat will be judged the stronger.
The north wind tried first. It blew with all its might in an effort blow the coat off the traveler's back. But the harder he blew the man wrapped the coat closer to his body as he felt cold.
The sun tried next. It shone at the traveler gently at first. The traveler felt hot, opened the coat and slung it on his shoulder.
The sun then shone with its full strength. The traveler, first threw off his coat so that he could
travel light in the heat. Next he opened out his shirt also.
It is true that we need air and for it to blow as wind to give rain and showers, but without the sun's rays nothing may survive on Earth.
PERSUASION IS A FAR BETTER THAN FORCE
